Red Storm Need Extra Frames to Get Past Desert Storm
The Lansing Red Storm did just enough to secure a victory over the Arizona Desert Storm, 5-4, in 10 innings at Desert Storm Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Bobby Bassett. The Red Storm now have a record of 27-61.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Tyler Farrell came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Arizona pitcher Josh Kern, he hit a first pitch curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Lansing on top, 5-4.

Lansing manager GM TDen commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
