Blueberry Bulldogs Raise Rally Flag, Beat Detroit, 3-2
|
Bulldogs Ballpark was rocking after an exciting Blueberry Bulldogs win.
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs knocked off the Detroit Pizzas, 3-2, in Federation League action at Bulldogs Ballpark. Sudbury pitcher and Baltimore, Maryland, native George Wilson had an outstanding performance. The Pizzas drop to 14-16 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2050 season.
Adrian Silvester was the walk-off hero for Sudbury. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blueberry Bulldogs catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Wilson.
