The Dublin Porters picked up a win at Porters Ballpark, topping the Buffalo Buffalo, 6-4. On the mound for Dublin was left-hander Karl Gordam. He played a principal role in the triumph. Buffalo drops to 15-14.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jason Widel in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Danny Rutledge to win the game for Dublin. The home crowd went nuts.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Gordam.
