Zamudio Socks It to Bats, Cracks 5 Hits Monday, December 16th , 2047 It was a big day for David Zamudio and he brought the Philadelphia Spartans along for the ride. Zamudio led his club to victory, 22-6, over the Pittsburgh Bats at Bats Ballpark, smoking Pittsburgh pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 24-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet." David Zamudio singled in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Javy Vasquez in the 6th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jon Arnest in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
