Royal Oak-Spokane Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, July 10th , 2052 Alex Zapata of Royal Oak and Luis Castillo of Spokane were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Zapata will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Castillo was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Thus far this season in 74 games, Zapata is batting .248 with 11 home runs, 36 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 242 at-bats. His record this year is 3-2 in 11 starts and Castillo has a 2.81 ERA. |
