Winter Move on to League Championship Series Wednesday, September 20th , 2051 The championship dreams are still alive for the Calgary Winter, while it's back to the drawing board for the Tacoma Oilmen. By a score of 7-2, Calgary won the decisive game at Oilmen Field today. The Winter took the series 3-1. Reynaldo Sanchez of the Winter was named the Division Series MVP. "All our guys are really focused winning the World Series," Sanchez said. "I'm not too concerned about personal awards." The Calgary Winter will play against the Jefferson J-Hawks in the next round. Jefferson won their series against the Medford Axemen 3 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. View Boxscore |
