Serrano Hits for the Cycle Wednesday, September 13th , 2051 Jon Serrano roughed up Georgetown Spinners pitching in a big way at Jefferson Park, leading the Jefferson to a win, 17-3. With his parents and family watching from the stands, the 21-year-old shortstop put on a magnificent show, hitting for the cycle -- collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. "It was a good day for that to happen," a beaming Serrano said after the game. "I really got some good looks and delivered. Sometimes you're just on." He finished his historic day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBI and 2 runs scored. Jon Serrano hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, struck out in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 7th.
