Kansas City-Portland Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, September 12th , 2051 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Kansas City-Portland contest at Hepcats Ballpark. The Hepcats Jason Wilson and the Mavericks Jorge Carmona will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. At present, Wilson is batting .271 with 39 hits and 10 home runs. He has knocked in 27 runs and scored 30 times. In 22 starts this season, Carmona has chalked up a 7-5 record and a 3.69 ERA. |
