O'Sullivan Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Sunday, September 10th , 2051 J-Hawks left fielder Ferris O'Sullivan made big news in Jefferson's 21-4 victory over the Laredo Diamonds. He was 4-for-6 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," O'Sullivan said later. Ferris O'Sullivan hit a three-run home run off John Whittle in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
