McPhail Tosses 4-0 Shutout Against Laredo Friday, September 8th , 2051 Dusty McPhail was dynamite at Winter Grounds, blowing away the Laredo Diamonds in a shutout victory. The Calgary Winter starter had everything working as he held the Diamonds to 5 hits in the 4-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Laredo skipper Garret Welborn. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." McPhail finished the game with 11 strikeouts and 3 walks.
