Outlaws Pitching Ravaged by Mingo
Thursday, August 31st , 2051
Evan Mingo had an answer for everything the Richfield Outlaws threw at him at Oilmen Field. The Tacoma right fielder went 6-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Oilmen a win, 18-9.
Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Mingo said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
Evan Mingo hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Chris Cellars in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
In 54 games this season, Mingo has batted at a .445 pace with 69 hits and 4 home runs.
