Jose Trevino Picked SL2's Best Player
Wednesday, August 10th , 2050
The manager of the Tacoma Oilmen said he thinks Jose Trevino is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2050 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .363 batting average and a .476 on-base percentage this year. In 70 games he piled up 101 hits, 11 doubles, 3 triples, 40 home runs, 93 RBIs and 102 runs scored.
He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jeff Cole of the Tacoma Oilmen finished second in voting, while Art Giordano of the Medford Axemen finished third.
