SL1 Presents Top Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, August 9th , 2050 Cristiano Portocarreiro joined an elite group of pitchers today by picking up the Sub League 1 Pitcher of the Year Award for 2050. The 21-year-old hurler finished the year 8-3 for the Kansas City Hepcats, piling up 80.2 innings, registering 90 strikeouts and walking 25 on his way to a solid 2.01 ERA. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 16. Alex Ciriaco of the Portland Mavericks finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Jose Acevedo of the Cloverleaf Imperials finished third with 2 first place votes.
