Shearin of Tacoma Named SL2 Best Skipper Monday, August 8th , 2050 An outstanding season by the Oilmen garnered their manager Bill Shearin the Sub League 2 Manager of the Year award for 2050. He led Tacoma to a 62-14 record this year and a first place finish in the Sub League 2 West Division. Even so, Shearin seemed less than thrilled. "I don't give a darn about the award," he growled to reporters, "I just want this team to win championships!" |
