SL1 Names Top Player of the Week Monday, May 20th , 2052 It was an extraordinary week for Mike Chelton of the Portland Mavericks. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .500, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Sub League 1. Last week Chelton went 13-for-26, racked up 2 home runs and 7 RBIs and scored 5 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Portland shortstop. Thus far this year, Chelton is hitting .455 with 5 home runs, 27 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
