Mexico City-Portland Brawl, Morales and Alvarado Suspended Friday, May 17th , 2052 Antonio Morales of the Mexico City Mole and Jorge Alvarado of the Portland Mavericks will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 2 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Mole-Mavericks game at Mole Grounds. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Morales and Alvarado will begin serving them soon. Morales is currently hitting at a .244 pace with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and has scored 11 times. So far this season, Alvarado has a record of 1-0 with 22 strikeouts and 14 walks in 28.1 innings and a 5.40 ERA. |
