Krell Shackles Kansas City Tuesday, July 18th , 2051 The Kansas City Hepcats were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the Spokane Bulldogs and hurler Jason Krell. Krell kept the Hepcats confused all game, spinning a 7-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Krell," Kansas City manager Paul Strzelczyk said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 24-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 5 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Krell said.
