Soto, Gomez Suspended for Fracas Wednesday, June 28th , 2051 Jordan Soto of the Laredo Diamonds and Juan Gomez of the Calgary Winter received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Ballpark of Laredo. Soto is currently batting .293 with 9 home runs and 34 RBIs. Gomez has posted a 2-3 record for the year with a 6.57 ERA. Teams are hitting .327 against him and he has rung up 37 strikeouts in 49.1 innings. |
