Axemen Rodriguez Lost for Year Sunday, May 12th , 2052 When Tony Rodriguez was hurt against the Georgetown Spinners, the Medford Axemen were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 20-year-old first baseman suffered a broken kneecap running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Rodriguez would miss 6-7 months of the season. Rodriguez is batting .272 this year with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 92 at-bats. |
