Talavera Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, May 6th , 2052 Santiago Talavera stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors. The Portland left fielder ripped opposing pitchers for 15 hits in 34 at-bats and 2 home runs. He put together a sizzling .441 batting average as he knocked in 6 runs and scored 9 times. So far this season, Talavera is batting .329 with 5 home runs. |
