Oliver Tags Bulldogs for 5 Hits Sunday, May 5th , 2052 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Nehemiah Oliver -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Hepcats Ballpark and paced the 12-2 Hepcats win over the Spokane Bulldogs. After his dynamite batting performance, the Kansas City first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Nehemiah Oliver hit a solo-shot off Jorge Echeverri in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Esteban Rodriguez in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
