Morel Punishes SL1 Pitchers This Week Monday, May 26th , 2053 Not every ball that came off Pablo Morel's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Mexico City Mole. For his exploits, Morel was named this week's Sub League 1 Player of the Week award. The Mexico City right fielder put up 16 hits in 24 at-bats and 5 home runs while hitting .667 with 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year, Morel has 6 home runs and a .323 batting average. |
