Great Week for Georgetown's Mike Devereaux Monday, May 15th , 2051 Georgetown fans have something to crow about today as Georgetown third baseman Mike Devereaux nabbed the Sub League 2 Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Devereaux. He posted a .647 average (11-for-17) this past week with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. Thus far this season, Devereaux has hit .301 with 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 13 times. |
