Spokane-Portland Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, May 10th , 2051 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Spokane-Portland contest at Mavericks Field. The Bulldogs Felice Servergnini and the Mavericks Tony Leyva will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Thus far this season, Servergnini has hit .216 with no home runs, 2 RBIs and scored 5 times. To date, Leyva has collected no saves in 12 relief appearances. He has rung up 21 strikeouts and 5 walks in 15 innings while registering a 1.80 ERA and a 2-1 won-lost record. |
