Portland's Marin Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, April 21st , 2053 Not every ball that came off Ruben Marin's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Portland Mavericks. For his exploits, Marin was named this week's Sub League 1 Player of the Week award. The Portland center fielder put up 14 hits in 34 at-bats and 2 home runs while hitting .412 with 3 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
