Pinilla Belts 3 HRs
Tuesday, April 12th , 2050
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Ricardo Pinilla did at Spinners Grove, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 21-8.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Pinilla said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The Tacoma Oilmen center fielder blistered the Georgetown Spinners for 3 hits, batted in 8 runs and scored 3 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Georgetown manager Wil Chicas said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
Ricardo Pinilla flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th and walked in the 9th.
Pinilla is hitting at a .409 mark this season. His stats show 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has played 6 games for the Oilmen.
