SL2 Selects Pliner August's Best Pitcher Sunday, September 1st , 2052 Mike Pliner is the latest Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month award winner. The Jefferson starter shone on the hill repeatedly last month and finished August with a sparkling 5-0 record. In 2 starts he tossed 37 innings, posted 30 strikeouts, and put up a 2.19 ERA.
