Louisville Hopeless Against Harig
Tuesday, August 27th , 2052
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Louisville Prairie Thunder as starter Will Harig shut them out, 6-0, at Prairie Thunder Park. The Laredo pitcher struck out 9 and walked 0 while allowing 2 hits.
"Harig was good but he wasn't flawless," Louisville manager Malik Stovall said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Laredo, but this is on us."
Up to now Harig has compiled an ERA of 2.07 with a 9-4 mark over 17 starts. He has 100 strikeouts in 121.2 innings and has held opponents to a .201 batting average.
