Simpson No-Hits Diamonds Wednesday, August 21st , 2052 In a brilliant performance at Winter Grounds, Calgary pitcher Colin Simpson entered an elite group by tossing a no-hitter against the Laredo Diamonds. In the effort, he fanned 6 and walked 3, leading the Winter to victory, 1-0. "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball," Simpson said in the clubhouse after the game. "My guys made some nice plays behind me and cut off several hits, too."
