Hepcats Pedro Gomez to Miss Year Tuesday, August 13th , 2052 A blow for Pedro Gomez today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Gomez suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Kansas City Hepcats are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Gomez's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year, Gomez has delivered no saves. In 4 relief appearances he has 35 strikeouts in 49.1 innings with a 3.28 ERA and 3 wins and 2 losses. |
