SL1 Player of the Week Goes to Westfall of Mexico City Monday, August 12th , 2052 It was an extraordinary week for Jim Westfall of the Mexico City Mole. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .538, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Sub League 1. Last week Westfall went 7-for-13, racked up 2 home runs and 10 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Mexico City second baseman. This season, Westfall has hit at a .403 clip with 21 RBIs, 4 home runs and 18 runs scored. He has played in 24 games. |
