Tabaev Wins SL1 Top Pitcher Award Thursday, August 1st , 2052 There was little doubt around the Sub League 1 that Zhenechka Tabaev would be awarded Pitcher of the Month honors for July. Today, they made it official, naming the 18-year-old Portland Mavericks starter the latest honoree. He thoroughly dominated the hitters who stood in against him, holding them to a .224 batting average while fashioning a 2.87 ERA in 6 starts. His record for the month was 4-1 in 31.1 innings of work.
