SL2 Most Valuable Player Award Goes To Sanchez

Reynaldo Sanchez took CBD Single A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24.
For his spectacular campaign, the Calgary Winter star has been named the 2051 Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman.
On the season he compiled a .402 batting average to go with a .491 on-base percentage. The native of Ciudad BolĂvar, Venezuela also added 37 doubles, 5 triples, 47 home runs, 132 RBIs and 131 runs scored.
He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jim Johnson of the Tacoma Oilmen finished second in voting, while Jesus Alvarado of the Calgary Winter finished third.
