Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Pisciotta Thursday, July 11th , 2052 Cory Pisciotta ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Ballpark of Colorado Springs, when he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Colorado Springs Generals dropped the game, 12-3, to the Long Island Ducks. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Pisciotta said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Cory Pisciotta singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. At the moment, Pisciotta is hitting .401 with no home runs and 19 RBIs. He has played in 50 games and scored 25 times. |
