20-Game Hitting Streak for Garcia Thursday, July 4th , 2052 Ricardo Garcia of the Colorado Springs Generals tagged 5 hits in today's 12-9 loss to the Sheboygan Bratwurst at Bratwurst Park to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Ricardo Garcia flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mitch McKenzie in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
