Super Swinger -- Garcia Slams 5 Hits Thursday, July 4th , 2052 At Bratwurst Park, Ricardo Garcia of the Colorado Springs Generals put on a hitting clinic. He banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and mauled the Sheboygan Bratwurst pitching staff, but Colorado Springs still came up short on the scoreboard. The Generals went home with the 12-9 loss, in spite of a standout 5-hit performance from their right fielder. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," Garcia said in the postgame interview. Ricardo Garcia flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mitch McKenzie in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
