Manzo Tosses 14-0 Shutout Against Grosse Pointe Wednesday, July 3rd , 2052 In a seemingly effortless performance, Jose Manzo of the Pueto Rico Ranas shot down the Grosse Pointe Better Mades, 14-0, on 7 hits. "Jose was just locating so well and using his pitches," Pueto Rico manager Monte Benevidez said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Manzo recorded 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Grosse Pointe manager Ubaldo Riba said in postgame comments to BNN.
