Long Beach Wins Round 1 Tuesday, September 12th , 2051 A 9-0 triumph at Paradise Ballpark has wrapped up the Round 1 for the Long Beach Paradise. "We're off to the Round 2," said Paradise third baseman Jamie Jones, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Sapporo Sea Eagles by a series score of 4-1. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said. The Long Beach Paradise will play against the Colorado Springs Generals in the next round.
