Jacksonville's Hayes Acclaimed Best CR Hitter Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 Dewald Hayes may be much younger than other hitters in the CBD Rookie League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 18-year-old Jacksonville first baseman hit .398 with 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored. A look at his current stats shows Hayes with a .324 average, 10 home runs, 49 RBIs and 76 runs scored. He has played in 106 games. |
