Division 1 Title Goes to Sea Eagles Monday, August 28th , 2051 Could a championship parade soon be in the future for the Sapporo Sea Eagles? The team certainly hopes so, tonight having taken a big first step, by winning the Division 1. "We want to give the fans in Sapporo something to celebrate. This is a start, but we have much more planned," said center fielder Adam Moats. "There's a passion for baseball in our city and we want to reward the fans who have stuck by us." The team's division-leading record sits at 90-24. It is the 11th Division 1 crown in franchise history and the Sea Eagles will be seeking their 4th CBD Rookie League championship. |
