Euharlee-Colorado Springs Brawl, Devereaux and Perez Suspended Tuesday, August 24th , 2049 If there wasn't a history between Mike Devereaux of Euharlee and William Perez of Colorado Springs, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 8 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Devereaux said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." A look at his season totals shows Devereaux with 7 home runs, .347 BA, .407 OBP, 48 RBIs and 62 runs scored. This season, Perez has made 24 relief appearances, pitched 52.2 innings and struck out 47 with a record of 2 wins and 3 losses. He has compiled a 3.42 ERA and saved 4 games. |
