Hitting Streak Still Alive for Lipscomb Wednesday, August 23rd , 2051 Jon Lipscomb extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30 games in the 8-2 Sapporo triumph over the Jacksonville Alligators. The 22-year-old Sea Eagles catcher collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Jon Lipscomb flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
