Johnson Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Long Island Sunday, August 22nd , 2049 After 23 games, Galveston shortstop Justin Johnson saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 4 at-bats. However, the Gumdrops still managed to take the win, topping the Long Island Ducks, 5-3, at Ducks Ballpark. "It was a good run," Johnson said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point.
