Walls Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, June 20th , 2052 Allen Walls's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Long Island. The 19-year-old catcher extended it once again, this time bringing it to 25 games with a 2-for-3 performance against the Euharlee Hammerheads. The Ducks won the game, 6-4. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Allen Walls flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year, Walls is hitting .435 with 2 home runs, 18 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
