5-Hit Game for Farley Friday, June 14th , 2052 5 times is the charm -- at least for Tom Farley. The Long Beach Paradise second baseman tore up the Galveston Gumdrops to the tune of 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Gumdrops Grounds. The offensive onslaught from Farley powered the 14-0 Paradise win. "Farley was a tough out," Galveston manager Jonathan Bonner said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Tom Farley singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
