Gumdrops Win Division 3 Crown Sunday, September 4th , 2050 John Ewing of the Galveston Gumdrops said his team has "enormous responsibility" on their shoulders, after having just won the Division 3. "Our organization, our city, our coaches, everyone expects us to win the Round 3," the catcher said. "That's a lot of expectations and a lot of people to ensure you don't let down. We all want it badly enough, but that's some good extra motivation." The Gumdrops have secured their 4th division crown on the strength of their 65-54 record. Galveston will now seek to capture its 4th CBD Rookie League championship. |
