He hammered the Colorado Springs Generals for 5 hits to help Long Beach win, 18-12, over Colorado Springs at Ballpark of Colorado Springs. Virgil Hiriza singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
