Mora Homers 3 Times Against Grosse Pointe
Monday, August 22nd , 2050
Oklahoma City Hooks third baseman Omar Mora had a magnificent game against the Grosse Pointe Better Mades, rocketing three balls out of Hooks Ballpark to help the Hooks win, 15-4.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Mora went 4-for-5 with 11 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Oklahoma City manager Jason Bazik said later. "Seems like Omar found his home run stroke today."
Omar Mora singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Tyler Miller in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Yukichi Nakamura in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Yukichi Nakamura in the 6th and struck out in the 7th.
Mora is hitting .351 this year with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 27 hits in 77 at-bats, 6 walks and a .405 on-base percentage. Mora has played in 18 games.
