Walling Blisters Long Island Sunday, June 2nd , 2052 Matt Walling got the glory and the headlines, but the Long Island Ducks left with the win. The Pueto Rico left fielder easily handled the Ducks pitching, going 5-for-5, but his Pueto Rico Ranas came out on the short end of the 7-6 score. Walling told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end." Matt Walling singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, hit a solo-shot off Ed Nava in the 9th and walked in the 11th.
