Nogales Snaps Salazar Streak at 20 Tuesday, August 16th , 2050 Jose Salazar's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games, as the Rhome Rhavioli dropped their contest with the Nogales Nómadas del Sol, 8-7, at Nogales Grounds. Salazar failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Salazar spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. This year, Salazar has hit at a .361 pace and produced 91 RBIs, 15 home runs and scored 89 runs. |
